The Invisible Ring comes out on July 29 as an audiobook (download only at this time).

SAIDA DE EMERGENCIA bought the Portuguese language rights to the following books: Sebastian, Tangled Webs, Belladonna, Pillars of the World, Shadows and Light, and The House of Gaian. I'll keep you updated as publication dates get closer.

Two of my fairy tale stories are back in print. To find "Match Girl" and "Rapunzel," ask your local bookstore for the anthologies Ruby Slippers, Golden Tears and Black Swan, White Raven, published by Prime Books.

Read an excerpt from "Stands a God Within the Shadows." The story will appear in the anthology Imaginary Friends, which is scheduled for a September 2008 release.

Harpercollins Australia has bought Dreams Made Flesh and The Shadow Queen. They intend to publish both volumes by April 2009.

I recently accepted a new 3-book contract with Penguin Group USA (Roc). Two of the books will be Black Jewels--the sequel to The Shadow Queen (coming in March 2009) and a collection of stories like Dreams Made Flesh (which includes the holiday story I wrote about the SaDiablo family.) The third we'll just call the Muse's Choice because I don't know what it will be. :)

Tangled Webs made a showing on the USA Today List and also placed on the New York Times List!

Penguin will be producing all of my novels as audio books over the next few years. The first book will be Tangled Webs, tentatively scheduled for a March 2009 release. The other novels will follow throughout 2010 and 2011.

Several of my books are now available as ebooks, including Sebastian and
Belladonna. Other books in ebook format are Daughter of the Blood, Queen of
the Darkness, Shadows and Light, and The House of Gaian. You can check out places like Connect, the Penguin web site, ereader.com or Fictionwise for more information about formats.

If you're wondering why Becoming an Ally isn't listed on my bibliography page, the reason is simple: I didn't write it. Yes, there is more than one Anne Bishop who has written a book. (I'm also not the Anne Bishop(s) who wrote the nursing texts or the cookbook.) Just wanted to point that out to avoid potential reader confusion. :)
